A blog is a frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and Web links. It is an open forum to express thoughts, questions, concerns etc.
MyFoxMontgomery blogs have many unique features that you should try out. For one, it is what YOU make of it. The control of the direction of this here blog site is in the hands of you the readers/bloggers. You could make it into a source for businesses that can't afford web development to post information and then people can post reviews accordingly. Just a thought.
What we (Fox 20) use it for? Soon, we are going to set up and promote "Ask Dr. John". ADJ (for short) is going to be a blog by Dr. John Moorehouse so that you may ask him questions and he can respond, right here on the site! Dr. John will answer your questions and give general medical related health tips. Thru blogging, we will receive this information and possibly turn it into a site of its own. This is a trial period if you will.
Also you may use the blog to upload pictures, in addition to uploading avatars (your profile pictures). In the spring of 2008, we plan to launch a cutest baby promotion, where users upload and vote on baby photos. The person with the highest votes wins some sort of prize. In the mean time, as a blogger you can store as many photos as you would like! This is pretty cool if you want to share your pictures with a bunch of people. Instead of sending it around, simply upload it to the site and send them the link. It's that easy.
MyFoxMontgomery has also asked local experts to pitch in on giving advice to the people of Montgomery. Once we find enough people who understand the value in providing expert information, then we will promote it more and you'll see it on the air. Who knows, maybe it will make it to our News at 9!
If there is anyway we can help you please click the contact us tab and we will respond faster than any other site in town gauranteed :)
